On October 25, 2023, an online kick-off meeting of the uCAREER project partners was held.
The objectives and framework of the uCAREER project were presented, detailing how it aims to modernize aircraft engineering education through international collaboration. The partners deliberated on the logistics and content of an upcoming Round Table event titled “Challenges of Aircraft Engineering Education in Ukraine”. Engagement of Ukrainian students in the American Society for Composites (ASC) competitions was also discussed.
The meeting was adjourned with a consensus on the importance of fostering international cooperation to enrich the field of aircraft engineering education. All participants expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming Round Table event and the integration of students in international competitions, highlighting the project's role in strengthening ties between Ukrainian and U.S. institutions.
